One Church. Three Locations.

One of the goals of Grace Church is to impact our community in which we live in a positive manner. As our congregation grew over the years, we found that people were driving from neighboring communities to attend worship services on our Pelham campus. Traditional thinking would have moved us to continue to build larger buildings so that we could accommodate the growth on one campus. However, if our goal is to impact our local community, then we felt that we needed to have a presence in those neighboring communities so that the people who lived there could be involved on a deeper level in the activities and service opportunities that existed.

Our strategy to accomplish this goal was to become “one church with multiple campuses.” This was our strategic response to maintain the momentum and growth that we were experiencing while not limiting ourselves to a central campus that would continually be in need of expansion. We believe that there is more power and synergy in a network of interconnected churches (sharing the same leadership, direction, and vision across all campuses) held together through vision and values than in separate congregations and churches that struggle to work together.

Grace Church presently has three campuses (Grace Church on PelhamGrace Church Powdersville, and the recently launched Grace Church Downtown) that share the same elder leadership, vision and direction. Each campus has the same worship focus and teaching, with some unique differences to fit the community in which it is located.

Being “one church with multiple campuses” has given us the ability to offer those who attend Grace Church the structure and stability of a larger church while having the feel of a small church environment. This multi-site approach also gives Grace members the ability to be involved in their community through the venue of the church that they attend.
