Over the past few years, we have been learning that to reach a community, we have to be in a community. Most of the folks who attend our Pelham Campus live within 5 miles of the campus. The launching of campuses in Powdersville and Downtown has been further proof of this reality. People are more likely to go to church in their own community with people that live close by – people with whom they work, whose children go to school together, play sports together, essentially who live life together.

With all this being true, we will be launching a campus in the Mauldin/Simpsonville/Fountain Inn area, also known as the Golden Strip.  The Golden Strip Area is one of the fastest growing areas in our state. This campus will be accessible, not only for folks who live in the Golden Strip Area, but also for those in the area of Laurens and Clinton (including students from Presbyterian College). We believe this creates a divine obligation, as well as an exciting opportunity to reach many people with the Good News of Jesus.

We’d love for you to meet our new Campus Pastor, Chris Curtis.

Chris was born into a pastors’s home in Memphis, TN.  Outside of a short time on the mission field in Mexico, he spent most of his life in the southeast.  He went to college in Greenville where he met and married his wife Gina, who is a Greenville native.  They have been married 14 years and have 3 boys: Corey(11), Charlie(9) and Christian(6).  While in Greenville he taught middle and high school, was youth director at a local church and completed his Master of Divinity degree at Reformed Theological Seminary-Charlotte.  In 2004, he and his family moved to New Port Richey, FL to plant Trinity Community Church.  In 2009, Trinity merged with another local church where he has since pastored.  Chris loves to play golf, the UNC Tarheels, and reading with a strong cup of coffee in hand.

If you would like to give financially to this campus, please fill out the information below.

Please take a moment to watch this video from our Powdersville Campus.  September 25, 2011 marked a moment of growth for a group of 50 people who wanted to reach their community.  Hopefully this will inspire us as we move forward with this new adventure.
