Equipping young leaders to serve Christ with integrity and excellence is a high calling. Every summer Grace Church gives college students the opportunity to devote a season of time (KAIROS) to spiritual growth and self-discovery through service and study.

Equipping/Instruction

Three mornings a week, interns will be taught by various Grace pastors on topics such as bible study methods, gospel centered living, local church, gender, worship, silence, solitude, and more. The Kairos classes are designed to equip interns with foundational truths that will build character and knowledge that is essential for their role as healthy members in a local church and community.

Practical Ministry

Each intern will be placed in a primary ministry area (Children, Students, University, Worship, Communication, Cultural Engagement, Administration, etc.) for the duration of the summer where they will gain “hands-on” ministry experience. Interns will be asked to teach, train, lead, listen, observe, build, and connect in a variety of different ways depending on their specific ministry area.

Discipleship

Interns can expect to disciple and be discipled. Grace Church exists to make mature followers of Christ. We believe the primary context for such life change is relationships. Kairos interns will all have pastoral mentors and will be challenged to shepherd others throughout the summer.

Engagement

Jesus has called us to take the gospel in word and deed to the ends of the earth. Each intern will have the opportunity to be involved with ministry partnerships that Grace Church has locally, regionally, and internationally.

KAIROS is a 10 week summer internship designed to give students the opportunity to lead, study, and serve alongside the Grace Church staff. This Summer we will have space for 20 team members serving with students, children, worship, and communication.  If you have completed your SOPHOMORE year of college, we encourage you to apply.
