24Seven Retreat

The goal of dating is to pursue marriage, but our culture has its own ideas for what dating should look like. Our students are being discipled about dating; the question is by who—our culture or God? At this retreat, we desire to help our students understand a biblical view of dating with the goal of changing how they engage in their current relationships with the opposite gender and with God. The idea of “one” comes from the way that God created marriage—a unity and commitment that reflects God’s oneness with His people. Right now, our students should not be pursuing unity with another person, but instead pursuing and enjoying oneness with God.
