PV | In-Person & Online | Ezer: Biblical Femininity

Monday, February 8 @ 12:00 am
Powdersville Campus, 9205 Hwy 81
Piedmont, SC 29673 United States

God created every woman with a specific purpose—to be an ezer kenegdo, an essential counterpart. An ezer is one who comes alongside another and brings strength in the context of relationship. All women share this core calling, but how we live out our calling looks different for each woman based on her personality, gifts, strengths, perspectives, and season of life. Through the Biblical Femininity study, we learn to embrace our uniqueness and live out our calling right where God has us today. This study will be offered Monday evenings with an in person and virtual option you can choose at registration. Click on the registration link below to register.

April 2021

PV | Institute | Parenting: Establishing Authority

Monday, April 19 @ 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm
Powdersville Campus, 9205 Hwy 81
Piedmont, SC 29673 United States

Parenting is above all else, an exercise in leadership and dependence on God. We must resist the temptation to look for an overly precise and clear pathway of biblical parenting that will guarantee specific outcomes for our children and teens. Conversely, we can’t be lazy and settle for whatever parenting style we think is best. The Bible gives us some vital wisdom related to parenting at all ages, but this must also be accompanied by intellectual and spiritual rigor. These institute classes seek to equip parents in the process of training children by providing a biblical parenting framework around the ideas of establishing authority in young children (ages 0-6) and developing responsibility in older children (ages 7 and up).
