Good Friday

Friday, April 7 @ 12:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Good Friday is when we remember Jesus’ crucifixion—the day he laid down his life in fulfillment of God’s promise to reverse the curse of sin and restore us to himself. On this Good Friday, we hope you will join us as we take time to reflect, pray, and take communion in remembrance of Jesus’ sacrifice.

Each campus will be open from 12:00–8:00pm on Friday, April 7. Please stop by at any time. You will first have the opportunity to watch a brief, live action video of the events of Good Friday based on the Gospel of Mark. Then, there will be a separate space to respond to the story, pray, and take communion.

A note to parents—the video does include a portrayal of Jesus’ suffering that may not be suitable for children. The space for reflection and communion is family friendly, and we encourage families to attend together. If you have any questions, please ask your campus pastor.

AN | Baptism

Sunday, April 9 @ 9:00 am - 12:30 pm
Anderson Campus, 133 E. Whitner Street
Anderson, SC 29621 United States

Baptism is an act of obedience, commanded by Jesus and a way of publicly identifying with him. As Christ was crucified, buried, and raised to life, baptism represents that you have died to your old life (burial) and have been given a new life (resurrection). Baptism does not make you a believer, but it is a way of publicly demonstrating that you already trust in Jesus Christ alone for the forgiveness of your sins. If you are interested in learning more about baptism, follow the link below!
