Care | re:generation at the Downtown Campus

September 8, 2021 @ 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm
|Recurring Event (See all)

An event every week that begins at 6:30pm on Wednesday, repeating until December 28, 2022

Downtown Campus, 101 West McBee Ave.
Greenville, SC 29601 United States

We all experience brokenness in life. We all struggle with sin, our own, the sins of others and the effects of sin all around us. We believe that there is hope for each of us found in Christ and that God gives us steps of healing in his Word, the Bible. Re:generation is a 12-step discipleship process through recovery. By working through these biblical steps within an authentic community, people have found freedom from substance abuse, codependency, pornography, disordered eating, depression, fear, control, emotional/physical abuse, same-sex attraction, anger, obsessive thoughts, and many other personal struggles. All who are tired, broken, or hurting are invited to come find recovery in Jesus Christ.

Care | re:generation Mentor Training at the Downtown Campus

Wednesday, February 16 @ 7:15 pm - 8:15 pm
Downtown Campus, 101 West McBee Ave.
Greenville, SC 29601 United States

It’s an honor to be asked to mentor a re:generation participant. It means the participant is willing to trust you with some of the deepest parts of their lives and that they see Christ already at work in your life. The most effective mentors are those who spend time on their knees for their participant, themselves, and the re:generation ministry. They serve from the overflow of joy in their hearts, trusting God to bring healing to the participant’s life and leaning on group leaders and the participant’s recovery partners for support.

Downtown Campus, 101 West McBee Ave.
Greenville, SC 29601 United States

God created every woman with a specific purpose—to be an ezer kenegdo, an essential counterpart. An ezer is one who comes alongside another and brings strength in the context of relationship. We hope you will join us for Biblical Femininity, a six-week study where we will learn to embrace our uniqueness and live out our calling right where God has us today.

DT | Ezer: Redeeming Sexuality

Tuesday, February 22 @ 12:00 pm - 1:30 pm
Downtown Campus, 101 West McBee Ave.
Greenville, SC 29601 United States
$15

Sex and sexuality can be a confusing and divisive topic, both in our culture and in the church. And because we live in a fallen world, all of us struggle with some aspect of sexual brokenness. Many of us have carried wounds of sexual sin for years—shame over sins done to us, sins we've committed, and wounds that are simply the result of the fallen nature of our world. Redeeming Sexuality takes a deep, biblical look at the roots of sexual brokenness, how it is manifested in our lives, and how we can find freedom and hope in the gospel. In this newly revised, nine-week study, we will examine sex and sexuality from a biblical perspective and take our fractured hearts to a loving Father who is skilled in mending us with love, forgiveness, and acceptance.
