October's training, Navigating the Holidays, will be led by Katie Hannon of Lifeline Children's Services. Parents will be given practical tips on preparing children for the season, setting realistic expectations for extended family and friends, and making alterations to some traditional activities during the holidays so that you can minimize meltdowns and the “bah humbugs” that can affect children of trauma over the holidays.Find out more »

Join us as we serve alongside Hunger Corps in Puerto Rico to assist in building and restoring homes for victims of Hurricane Maria. This trip is family friendly, and is open to minors aged 16 and older when accompanied by an adult. Work projects during the week will be primarily construction based, but no experience is necessary. The trip cost is $1,000. The price includes lodging, transportation, airfare, and all meals while in-country.Find out more »

Parents will learn how to monitor and navigate the most popular social media platforms, as well as strategies for teaching kids how to navigate the "virtual reality" of the digital age safely and responsibly.Find out more »

December's training, Help Me Grow, will be led by Lorraine C Sullivan of Help Me Grow South Carolina. Parents will take part in this fun and interactive training to learn more about child development and how Help Me Grow partners with families to promote healthy development.
Trainings are offered on the second Thursday of the month, 6:30pm-8:30pm. Free childcare is provided for those who register.Find out more »
