TL | Baptism

Taylors Campus, 2701 Wade Hampton Blvd

Baptism is an act of obedience, commanded by Jesus and a way of publicly identifying with Jesus. As Christ was crucified, buried and raised to life, baptism represents that you have died to your old life (burial) and have been given a new life (resurrection). TL | Institute: Parenting Classes

Sunday, July 7 @ 10:45 am - 12:15 pm
Taylors Campus, 2701 Wade Hampton Blvd
Greenville, SC 29615 United States

Parenting: Establishing Authority - Culture is obsessed with the welfare and success of our children. We fluctuate between anxiety and control in our attempts to micromanage their lives. What we find in scripture is that children are not our own, they are gifts from a faithful God who is dedicated to establishing his kingdom throughout generations. We have been given the responsibility to raise up godly leaders. This institute class seeks to equip parents in the process of training 0 - 6 year olds by providing a biblical parenting framework around the idea of establishing authority in young children. Parenting: Developing Responsibility - Raising the next generation of image bearers is not for the faint of heart! As a church, we are committed to continuing to equip you to grow in your parenting skills. The transition from elementary age to the teen years can present unique challenges and we want to meet those head-on with an eye to preparing our children to be godly teenagers.
