Baptism does not make you a believer, but it is a way of publicly demonstrating that you already trust in Jesus Christ alone for the forgiveness of your sins.

"Do for one what you wish you could do for all." This is the heart of our Foster & Adopt ministry. On August 24, we are hosting a special evening of fellowship and encouragement so Grace Church Foster & Adopt families can share how God is at work through their fostering and adoption journeys. They will share about the WHY that compels them to serve others in this way. If you are interested in learning more about the foster licensing or adoption process, come be encouraged and informed. We will also share specifics around the needs of vulnerable children and how you can take your next steps. As you register, be sure to include any questions you have, and we will try to cover those topics during this evening.

We want to come alongside you as you walk that road, so we have invited Debbie Howard, chairman of Aging Matters International, to come and share resources, guidance, and support for those functioning as caregivers. Debbie has also authored the book The Caregiving Journey, and we are excited to learn from her experience and wisdom. This event will take place on September 19 at 6:30 at the Pelham campus. We are dependent on God for everything, and we know that prayerful dependence is a place of nearness to God in all circumstances. Join us as we take some time to pray for campus needs, for one another, and to be prayed for. Dinner will be served at 6:00 PM in the gym and childcare is available for children ages 0 to K5. CARE | Legacy: Strategies for Aging

Navigating the journey of aging can be challenging, and we want to come alongside you and provide resources, insights, and direction so you can walk through this season with hope. Strategies for Aging is a six-week course for Seniors and their adult children to be informed and better able to communicate their desires and concerns to one another on a wide variety of aging and legal issues so that together, they are able to make important decisions as they occur. This class will be facilitated by an Elder Law attorney and will take place at the Pelham campus. The course will begin October 3, be off on October 24, and conclude on November 14.

Join us for the first ever Mosaic Family Day Retreat! Our goal through this retreat is to help families build community and walk through the challenges that come with caring for individuals with special needs or disabilities. We will offer both a Caregiver Retreat and a Mosaic Individual Retreat. The Caregiver Retreat will consist of two sessions, group time, lunch, and free time to work through the sessions. The Mosaic Individual Retreat will provide all-day fun programming for children, students, and adults in Mosaic and their siblings. The retreat will take place on October 8 from 9:00AM - 3:00PM. In a world that offers only toxic or shallow definitions of manhood, we must examine the Scriptures to discover what it truly means to be a man. What does it look like for men to lead and care for the people God has entrusted to them? How can we become men of substance who bless those around us? Our seven-week version of Authentic Manhood, which includes an introductory week and seven teaching sessions, will lay a biblical groundwork for men of faith to take responsibility for and move towards those around them, all while depending on God.

All women share this core calling, but how we live out our calling looks different for each woman based on her personality, gifts, strengths, perspectives, and season of life. We hope you will join us for Biblical Femininity, a six-week study where we will learn to embrace our uniqueness and live out our calling right where God has us today.

This fall, Grace Church will be hosting a live simulcast of The Replanted Conference for foster, adoptive, and kinship parents! The Replanted Conference provides a time away for caregivers to be refreshed, equipped, and inspired! You do not need to be a member of Grace Church to attend, and we hope that this two day conference will equip you and help you grow in community with other people who are experiencing the same unique challenges and blessings of foster care and adoption. The schedule for the conference is listed below. Ten hours of CE credit are also available for foster parents who attend. We are excited to offer a health screening day for the community! This event is a way to offer individuals an opportunity for basic health screenings such as body mass index (BMI), blood pressure, blood glucose, basic health and dental education, and vision screenings. The intent of this screening day is to address individual health concerns regarding the presence of common chronic illnesses such as obesity, hypertension, diabetes, dental disease, and vision changes or vision loss. We will be hosting the event at Front Porch Housing on October 15 from 9:00AM - 12:00PM.

You may feel the sting of shame from your own choices, or maybe you feel marked by the shameful actions others committed against you; you may be deeply aware of shame in your life or you think shame is something only the most broken struggle with. Regardless of where you find yourself, everyone needs to grow in awareness of what shame is and how it operates. Shame: Finding Freedom will help you learn what shame is, identify the experiences, thoughts, and feelings that cause shame, how it affects you in everyday life, and how to live in the freedom and comfort Christ holds out to you. We hope you will join us for this seven-week study as we pursue freedom in Christ. This group will meet offsite on Monday mornings.

This seven-week study, which includes an introductory week and six teaching sessions, is designed to equip men in all stages of life to pursue Biblical purity. Topics include sexual stewardship for singles, creating intimacy for the long haul, shepherding our sons’ sexual development, and how we can move toward purity together as men. This study will last for five weeks starting October 20 at 8:00 PM.

You are invited to join us for We Choose Taylors, a night where we can look back at what God has done and look ahead to opportunities he has put before us. On November 13 at 4:00PM, we will gather to connect, hear from some of our members, look at numbers (financial and discipleship) specific to our campus, think through specific campus initiatives, and consider how we can be discipled and make disciples in our local congregation. Members of our leadership team and governing elders will also be present to answer questions on broader church initiatives. We hope you'll join us for this special evening of connection, worship, and vision.
