Find out more »Navigating the journey of aging can be challenging, and we want to come alongside you and provide resources, insights, and direction so you can walk through this season with hope. Strategies for Aging is a six-week course for Seniors and their adult children to be informed and better able to communicate their desires and concerns to one another on a wide variety of aging and legal issues so that together, they are able to make important decisions as they occur. This class will be facilitated by an Elder Law attorney and will take place at the Pelham campus. The course will begin October 3, be off on October 24, and conclude on November 14.

Find out more »Join us for the first ever Mosaic Family Day Retreat! Our goal through this retreat is to help families build community and walk through the challenges that come with caring for individuals with special needs or disabilities. We will offer both a Caregiver Retreat and a Mosaic Individual Retreat. The Caregiver Retreat will consist of two sessions, group time, lunch, and free time to work through the sessions. The Mosaic Individual Retreat will provide all-day fun programming for children, students, and adults in Mosaic and their siblings. The retreat will take place on October 8 from 9:00AM - 3:00PM. The Replanted Conference provides a time away for caregivers to be refreshed, equipped, and inspired! You do not need to be a member of Grace Church to attend, and we hope that this two day conference will equip you and help you grow in community with other people who are experiencing the same unique challenges and blessings of foster care and adoption. The schedule for the conference is listed below. Ten hours of CE credit are also available for foster parents who attend. We are excited to offer a health screening day for the community! This event is a way to offer individuals an opportunity for basic health screenings such as body mass index (BMI), blood pressure, blood glucose, basic health and dental education, and vision screenings. The intent of this screening day is to address individual health concerns regarding the presence of common chronic illnesses such as obesity, hypertension, diabetes, dental disease, and vision changes or vision loss. We will be hosting the event at Front Porch Housing on October 15 from 9:00AM - 12:00PM.

Find out more »The Travelers Rest Campus is sending a team to Puerto Rico! If you are a member with our TR campus, consider joining us for this upcoming mission trip to Puerto Rico and experience God working among the people there! We will serve in-country with our local partner, Hunger Corp, to assist in rebuilding homes that were damaged by hurricanes and an earthquake in recent years. This trip entails long days of construction work; however, no construction experience is necessary. Men and women on this team will need flexibility, as we seek to meet the current needs of our partners. The cost of this trip is $1,300 which includes airfare, lodging, and meals. What we find in Scripture is that children are not our own—they are gifts from a faithful God who is dedicated to establishing his Kingdom throughout generations. We have been given the responsibility to raise godly leaders. Find out more »Spring Break is around the corner, and we are excited to host a Spring Break Day Camp for Front Porch Residents March 20-24 to serve families with children while school is out. Camp will be held each day from 8:30am - 5:30pm. We need volunteers to help lead activities, hang out with the kids during free time, and provide a safe, fun environment.
