DT | Ezer: Biblical Femininity

Tuesday, September 25 @ 9:00 am - 10:30 am
In Homes (DT) SC 29601 United States + Google Map

God created every woman with a specific purpose — to be an ezer kenegdo, an essential counterpart. An ezer is one who comes alongside another and brings strength in the context of relationship. All women share this core calling, but how we live out our calling looks different for each woman based on her personality, gifts, strengths, perspectives, and season of life. Through this seven-week Biblical Femininity study, we learn to embrace our uniqueness and live out our calling right where God has us today. The Downtown campus will be offering four Biblical Femininity study group options (Tuesday morning, Tuesday evening, Thursday evening, and Sunday evening) launching the week of September 24. Click below for more information and to register.

DT | Ezer: Body Matters

Tuesday, September 25 @ 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm
In Homes (DT) SC 29601 United States + Google Map

Countless women battle a spirit of restlessness, insecurity, shame, and discontent with their own bodies. This issue is particularly complex within the church, because Biblical truth is often intertwined with cultural standards. Whether facing physical challenges such as aging, disability, illness, and death, or more emotional challenges like comparison, discontentment, envy, and insecurity, most women will struggle with their bodies at some point during their lives, which makes this an important topic for all women. Our next Body Matters study will begin September 25 from 7:00pm-8:30pm and runs for seven weeks. Click the link below for more information and to register.

DT | Ezer: Redeeming Sexuality

Tuesday, September 25 @ 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm
In Homes (DT) SC 29601 United States + Google Map

Sex was God’s idea. He created sex and our desires for sexual connection. Our sinful desires for approval, control, affirmation, security, and comfort twist and corrupt God’s good creation. Whether we are self-righteous or self-indulgent, we need to learn what it looks like to steward our sexuality in a way that honors God and serves others in love. Our Downtown campus will be offering two Redeeming Sexuality study groups (Tuesday evening and Thursday evening) launching the week of September 24.
