The mission of Grace Church Kids is to assist parents in leading their children toward a gospel-centered life, equip volunteers to shepherd children, and encourage children to grow in Christ by teaching them biblical truths in meaningful ways.
Grace Church Kids Ministries
If you’re planning on visiting Grace Church for the first time and have children who will participate in Grace Church Kids, we hope this page of questions and answers will give you an idea of what you can expect when you arrive on campus. If you have questions that are not addressed here, please e-mail us at [email protected].
Yes, please check your child out at one of the computer kiosks or welcome desks and give the printed check-out slip to the teacher at your child’s classroom.
Each household is assigned a two to four-digit Parent Pager household number, which can be found on the parent form that prints out at check-in. If a situation arises, and a volunteer feels it is necessary to summon a child’s parent, the child’s household ID number will appear on the lower right hand corner of the screens in the Worship Center at both the Pelham and Downtown campuses. If a parent is paged at our Powdersville campus, the household ID number will appear on the smaller LED screens in the Worship Center.
We welcome all children at Grace Church and are excited to have your child join us! We offer a variety of programs and support to children of all ages with special needs. For more information about our Mosaic Special Needs Ministry, visit gracechurchsc.org/mosaic.
For our parents who serve during one service and worship during another, we provide a program called Up & Out on Sunday mornings for children in 1st – 4th grade. Here, your children will learn what it means to love God and love others through our curriculum based on Matthew 22:37-40. They also enjoy active play, fellowship, crafts, and more.
For our parents who serve during one service and worship during another, we provide a program called Quest on Sunday mornings for children ages 4K and 5K. Here, your children will learn about the armor of God and the fruit of the spirit, in addition to enjoying active play, fellowship, crafts, and more.
