God created every woman with a specific purpose—to be an ezer kenegdo, an essential counterpart. An ezer is one who comes alongside another and brings strength in the context of relationship. All women share this core calling, but how we live out our calling looks different for each woman based on her personality, gifts, strengths, perspectives, and season of life. We all know the power of our words, so why do we still struggle to use them in ways that bring life rather than death? We hope you will join us for this nine-week study, A Woman's Words: Getting to the Heart of Our Speech. We will explore what the Scripture has to say about our words and how the gospel has the power and hope we need to transform them.
Find out more »We all experience loss in some shape or form throughout life. And while grief is difficult to process, it is also part of how we grow in our faith. If you are in a season of dealing with loss, you are invited to join us as we explore the book, A Grace Disguised: How the Soul Grows Through Loss by Jerry Sittser. This six-week book study will provide a framework to look at loss through a biblical lens and process these ideas in community. The class begins on June 6 at the Anderson campus.
