What is GroupLife?

GroupLife is our ministry for long term community. After participating in our core curriculum offerings, finding a Community Group is a necessary step for care and growth at Grace Church. Group launches vary by campus.

What is a Community Group?

Community Groups are the heartbeat of our church and serve as the primary setting for members to grow in spiritual passion as they seek to live out the core values of the Christian life: Biblically Oriented, Relationally Connected, Ministry Focused, Culturally Engaged, Courageously Generous, and Prayerfully Dependent. A Community Group consists of 12-14 adults who are encouraging one another to mature in their faith while serving to meet each other’s needs.

Groups meet weekly following the local school calendar. Most meetings last around two hours. During that time a group will eat some snacks or share a meal, work through their curriculum, share what is going on in their lives, pray, and encourage one another wherever they are in their journey of faith. Most of our groups meet in homes, and they often rotate meeting in each other’s homes.

How do I get Involved?

The first step to getting involved in a Community Group is the completion of Discovery. Upon completion of Discovery you can enroll in Foundations. Foundations leading into a group will be the beginning of your group experience. If you have any additional questions please contact your campus pastor.

Couples will be matched with a mentor couple and 3-4 other couples throughout the duration of the year. Community groups launch three times a year: winter, spring, and fall.

During that time, we will give couples the opportunity to hear teaching and seek counsel around a variety of topics including but not limited to: expectations of marriage, in-laws, communication and conflict, biblical roles in marriage, finances, intimacy.

The cost of Merge is $50 per couple.

The Institute

What is the Institute?

As a Church, we realize that people are coming to Grace from a wide variety of backgrounds and experiences. Some have been in church their entire lives while others are experiencing the life and ministry of the local church for the first time. In an effort to train and equip the body to do ministry (Eph. 4:11-13) we believe it is essential to provide ongoing, Biblical training that is practical for the everyday lives of our people.

Thursday, March 15 @ 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm

We believe that everyone is made in God’s image and is a unique and valuable part of God’s creation and our church. You don’t have to look far to see that Jesus’ ministry not only included, but welcomed, people and children of all abilities. We want to do the same.

Seven32 is Grace’s Church’s adult singles ministry. The name comes from 1 Corinthians 7:32 which says, “I want you to be free from the concerns of this life. An unmarried person can spend their time doing the Lord’s work and thinking how to please him.” Seven32 is a way for singles to connect with peers in their stage of life and provide an environment to study the Bible, learn how they are gifted, and find ways to use their gifts to serve the local church. For more information on Seven32 and upcoming events email [email protected].
