As we approach the Christmas season, we want to be courageously generous and support our communities well. As the Church, we seek to show Jesus’ love to those around us in concrete, practical ways. One way you can partner with your campus in serving your community is through a year-end seasonal giving project. Please reference your campus below to see how you can get involved.
Anderson DSS - The Anderson DSS Office has four visitation rooms for parents to meet with their children while under DSS supervision. Our campus will collect funds to go towards refurbishing these rooms, creating an atmosphere that is clean, safe, and inviting for families. Dominion Assisted Living (Senior Honor) - We will continue to support and encourage the staff of Dominion by collecting gift cards (gift cards can range in value and type) during the month of November. The goal will be to collect and deliver these gift cards to the staff before the Christmas holidays.
YoungLives - We are hosting a "Camp For Christmas" Tree in support of YoungLives this upcoming December. Paper tags will hang from the tree branches with information about camp, pricing, and ways to give. Similar to an Angel Tree, the idea is that our congregation members will take a tag off the tree and sponsor a future camp attendee by gifting a mom and baby a trip to Carolina Point this Christmas.
Downtown will be partnering with Front Porch Housing this Christmas to provide gift cards to families for Christmas shopping to the following stores: Walmart, Publix, Aldi, and Target. Over the weeks of November 12, 19, and 26 we will be collecting $100 gift cards in the sanctuary to distribute to our Front Porch residents.

We are partnering with Brookdale by spending time with residents through singing Christmas carols, hosting a service, and playing games. We also are planning to create and decorate Christmas cards to give to residents and provide gift bags to workers. Reach out to greeradmin@grace.sc to find out how you can get involved!
Our Harrison Bridge campus will be collecting gift cards to support local ministry partners. They will be distributed to teachers at Bryson Middle School, our senior honor partner, foster children, and more. Gift cards for gas, meals, and groceries are all welcomed and appreciated!
Pelham will be partnering with the Greenville County Foster Parent Association to provide $100 gift cards to either Target, Walmart, Amazon, or a VISA Vanilla to help with their Christmas shopping. They anticipate 400 children being in the foster care system in December.
Gift cards can be dropped off in any offering box, at the church office, or brought to the connect desk on Sunday mornings. Please bring by Sunday November 26.
We will be partnering with the Dream Center to stock their Santa Shoppe, which provides Christmas toys and gifts for families in need. You can pick up a card that lists the items needed at the Powdersville campus beginning November 5. Please drop off unwrapped gifts at the Powdersville campus by November 19. Mitchell Road Elementary School, our outreach partner, will be collecting items for children for Christmas. We will collect items through December 3.
We are partnering with Foothills Family Resource Center to provide 70 gift bags for their senior luncheon on December 15. We are also partnering with the TL campus to spend time with Woodlands residents in December. Date and time TBD. For questions and to sign up, email lbryant@grace.sc.
