We at Grace Church believe that God calls the church to gather together and worship corporately to celebrate the work of the gospel. We come together to remember God’s great story and our humble participation in it. We do this in a variety of ways including preaching, teaching, singing, prayer, stories of life change, baptism, and communion.

Hopefully, corporate worship is the overflow, out of and into, individual worship during the week. Our goal is to equip each other as we go into our local communities. It’s there that we are a living expression of Jesus’s body on earth until His physical return.

Let the message of Christ dwell among you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom through psalms, hymns, and songs from the Spirit, singing to God with gratitude in your hearts. And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.

Colossians 3: 16 – 17 (NLT)

In Western culture today, it may seem strange for people to gather in a room every week in order to sing songs together. To Christians, worship services are a completely normal occurrence, but how often do we stop and think about why we worship corporately and more specifically—why we are singing the songs we sing?In this series, we study the rich theology behind nine of our corporate worship songs and highlight the intentionality of our corporate worship services. Our hope is that by examining and meditating on the Scripture resonated in each song, you will personally connect with its meaning and significance in your own life

Follow Grace Church Worship on Spotify! We have created several playlists that include the songs we sing, family worship songs, meditation music, and songs played this past week.

Songs from Scripture is a collection of Grace Church Worship original songs written for the local church. We hope these songs are a blessing to you and your family.

Original Songs

“Give it All” is a Grace Church original song based on Psalm 101:1-3, Romans 12:1, and Psalm 119:10-12.

“Te Entrego Todo” es una canción original de Grace Church basada en el Salmo 101:1-3, Romanos 12:1 y en el Salmo 119:10-12.

“Set My Hope” was written to help worship through, and memorize, the truths of Romans chapter 8. “But with eager hope, the creation looks forward to the day when it will join God’s children in glorious freedom from death and decay.” Though we yearn to be freed from the curse brought on by sin, we can have hope, because Jesus conquered sin and death on the cross. What thing should we fear then? We have a Savior who loves us, the Spirit who intercedes for us, and a Father who invites us to share the inheritance and glory with His Son.

Worthy of it All is a new Grace Church original song based on the text of Psalm 51. This song highlights that true worship does not come from the way we sing a particular song, but rather the posture of our hearts before God. He alone is worthy of our worship, and it is him alone who should the receive the glory.

“You Reign” is a rendition of Psalm 146, which proclaims God’s sovereignty and the hope and life that is found only in Him.

The Name of Jesus Christ is a Grace Church original song based on the text of Philippians 2:6-11. The text rejoices in the fact that Jesus emptied himself of His divine privileges to humbly take on our sin through the cross.

“Whole Again” is a song adapted from the Isaac Watts hymn “When I Survey the Wondrous Cross”. The song lyrics emphasize the cleansing power of Jesus’ sacrifice on the cross, and the new life we receive through Him. The song is available to download on iTunes and the backing track and chord chart are available for free – just right click and “save as” on the buttons below.
